MicroMillions series

On this thursday, 14.th november, biggest low stakes tournament series will start on PokerStars. Its called MicroMillions and in 10 days, a total of 100 tournaments will be held and about 8 million dollars will be given out as a prize money. These numbers speak for themself and I guess you can already imagine how seriously I take this series. It will mean 10 days of hard work for me and I guess I will be spending about a total of 150 hours playing during this time. I have worked out a strategy how to be really succesful during these few weeks.
Firstly, ofcourse, I set myself some goals. I usually set really high goals, because that is the only way to get my mindset in such a condition where I can give my absolute maximum. While setting goals, it is still important that your goals will not be too unreal. Unrealistic dreams may crush your will, if done repeatedly, without succeeding. I've been there and done that, it is devastating for your soul in the long run. My goal for MicroMillions series is to play 50 tournaments and cash in 25% of the tourneys played. My biggest dream of this series is to make one final table, that would be the greatest achievement of my career and I will work as hard as I can to make it happen. I really dont want to set goals that include amounts of money, especially not in poker, because that applies a lot of unneccessary pressure on you. Ofcourse I am playing for money, but I dont define my dreams with numbers. You will be way more disappointed in your results, even when you unconsciously know that you gave it your best. That is not the spot where you want to be in, because it will make you stressful and tilty and it will probably lead you into bad decisions. You dont always get what you want, but giving your best towards achieving goals is most definetely a winners attitude. It is important to work towards getting better and better, not for money.
I have made some crazy things for myself in the past few weeks, that I never thought I will. I am just so motivated right now. Few days ago, I even composed myself a healthy eating, sleeping and training plan(both poker and physical training). I know it is really important in poker, because my mind and body needs to be ready for 16-20 hours sessions. I have to be at my best during all this time and obviously training and eating correct will make a ton of difference.
I am also writing a blog post about getting super motivated to chase all your dreams and taking instant action towards that, using the knowledge of great motivators, such as world known motivational trainer Chris Lee, poker legend Daniel Negreanu, one of the most succesful business in the world Richard Branson and a great Estonian entrepreneuer Peep Laja and ofcourse about my own experience, what I have done wrong until now etc. If you want to reach high in life, my next blog post will definetely give you motivation for doing that.
Dream it, believe it, achieve it !
